PETTINA INSTANT CHOCOLATE SPONGE MIX is a sponge mix requiring only the addition of eggs and water.
PETTINA INSTANT CHOCOLATE SPONGE MIX gives a perfect light sponge in 10 minutes mixing time and is suitable for sponge cakes, Swiss rolls, sponge sheets, cupcakes etc.

Ingredients
Eggs - 9 Large Eggs (450g)
Water - 400 ml
Pettina Instant Chocolate Sponge Mix - 1kg
Total Batter Weight: 1.85kg
Method
- Place eggs and water into the mixing bowl.
- Add PETTINA INSTANT CHOCOLATE SPONGE MIX and blend slowly to disperse powders.
- Whisk on fast speed for 8 - 10 minutes.
- Prepare sponge tins and fill no more than 3/4 of the tin with SPONGE MIX.
- Bake at ±190ºC. for ±20 minutes depending on the size of the sponge.
1kg makes 2 large cakes or 40 cupcakes
