Fondant - Brown

Fondant is a type of icing used in cake decorating and confectionery. It has a smooth, pliable texture that makes it perfect for covering cakes, making decorations, or sculpting edible figures.

Ready Rolled Fondant is the cake decorators sugar of choice and is found, almost as a default on wedding cakes or elaborate birthday cakes. It's like a soft dough that you roll out and drape over a cake for a flawless, matte finish. It can also be shaped into flowers, bows, and all sorts of decorative bits.

Fondant is usually made from sugar, water, and glucose or corn syrup. Rolled fondant often includes glycerine and gelatin to keep it flexible.

It’s very sweet and can be flavoured, although some people find it too sugary on its own.
