PETTINA ICE BOX BISCUIT MIX is biscuit premix requiring only the addition of margarine and water to produce a basic biscuit dough to which ingredients may be added to produce a variety of biscuits and cookies.
Varieties include: Jan Hagel (Dutch biscuits), almond, cherry, citrus, chocolate and coconut biscuits. In addition to being an ideal premix for short crust pastry.

Pettina Ice Box Biscuit Mix - 1kg
Creamy Yellow Margarine - 300g
Water - 100ml
Total Dough Weight: 1.4kg
Method
Place all the ingredients into mixing bowl.
Blend together on slow speed until clear.
Press the shortbread dough into a parchment-lined metal baking pan, using your fingertips to flatten it into an even layer.
Prick the dough all over with a fork
Refrigerate overnight
Remove from fridge and allow to come to room temperature.
Bake at 190degrees (about 20 minutes), until the shortbread is golden brown on the edges
